Hey! We are holding our first ever golf tournament fundraiser on March 31st, 2025, at Pine Knolls Golf Course of Kernersville. It’s going to be a day packed full of fun. The goal is to raise $5000 to help cover the costs of equipment, jerseys, and all other fees to ensure that every young lady in our community has the opportunity to participate in organized youth sports. Walkertown is pretty small, and we noticed a lot of our families just haven’t been able to afford to allow their kids to play over the past two years. Youth sports is fundamental in teaching so many important life skills, accountability, respect, and teamwork to name a few. We have incorporated some fun into this golf game, so it’s more than just a basic 18 holes. Par three poker, nondominate hand hole, hit it and get (random prizes throughout the course that you get if your ball hits one), and a “you pay or I play” hole (trust me, no one wants me to hit for them!) It’s going to be awesome, lunch will be provided by Pine Knolls Pub, and the only thing that would make this event greater would be if 107.5 kzl was a part of it in any capacity. We are currently offering hole sponsorships as well as team registration for the event and would like to offer you a team at no cost if you would just come out to play with us and/or a hole sponsorship at no cost if you would be willing to shout out the event on the radio, or on Instagram.
