My name is Noah Henley, I am the STEM Specialist at Petree Elementary School in Winston-Salem and I wanted to reach out to your staff and students to see if you would be interested in an opportunity volunteering for our Annual STEM Night (please see attached flyer).
This is our school’s once a year event where we showcase to parents and our community how we use STEM within our school to promote student learning and engagement. We use this night to invite prospective businesses, High Schools, and Universities to demonstrate to our community how they use STEM in their respective fields. Our goal is to incite a love of STEM in our students and show them many diverse people in the field of STEM that they can connect to.
The event is on March 27th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. If you are interested please reach out to me at nshenley@wsfcs.k12.nc.us and let me know if any of your staff or students would be interested in sharing their work through a hands on demonstration with students.
